Transmission of the inner state of man through the journalistic word. Abstract

For a better and truer reflection of the inner state of a person, it is necessary, first of all, to “pass” the hero of his journalistic material through his own heart and try to understand his life experiences using the method of modeling and transferring individual characteristics to the projection of general experiences.

First of all, it should be emphasized that there are two types of transmission of the inner state of man through the word: the first we call the interview, and the second – modeling. Now we will dwell in detail on each of them.

The first type includes direct communication between a journalist and a recipient, the purpose of which is to reveal the essence of the interlocutor through a series of questions.

But, given the impact on the subconscious of the audience, there are several types of interviews:

an interview dominated by a journalist; interview dominated by the respondent; interview in which the role of leader is absent.

The first type of interview is characterized by the excessive dominance of the journalist over his interlocutor, and such communication takes the form of “interrogation” rather than interview. In this case, the respondent from the excessive expansion of the journalist often “shuts himself in,” and a tree grows in brooklyn movie summary such communication does not lead to the disclosure of the respondent as an individual. Excessive expansion is the main disadvantage of this type of interview.

However, if a journalist deliberately chooses this form of interviewing, it must be motivated by several factors: first, excessive expansion can sometimes be a catalyst for the “truthfulness” of the respondent, especially in cases where the journalist’s goal is to expose untruths. actions or deeds of the interviewee. Secondly, using the so-called promotion of NLP (neurolinguistic programming) techniques, when a journalist turns from an “investigator” into a “psychoanalyst”, this is the most effective form of conversation between a journalist and a respondent.

Here, of course, it should be noted that this type of interview can be used only in cases where it is known in advance that the guest will tell a lie, or he is not brave enough to talk to a journalist. This method of conversation is, in fact, a risk, because it does not give a full guarantee that the interviewee will be ready for such a conversation with a journalist.

The second type of interview is a conversation dominated by the respondent. The main form of disclosure of the inner state of man in this case is a monologue. As already mentioned, the dominant in such communication is the respondent. But the journalist must successfully “push” it on the right topic. So to speak, to provoke a conversation. This type of interview can be correlated with the psychological chronotope of the “carriage companion”.

The main thing for a journalist is to inspire calm in the respondent, to convince him that the words he uttered will not be used as a means of disseminating information with deliberately distorted facts from the life or thoughts of the interlocutor. The main disadvantage of this type of interview is the possibility of the journalist losing the respondent’s attention to those aspects of his life that interest the interviewer. This may lead to the fact that the respondent’s monologue will take place, but not in the information plane that the journalist himself wanted.

The third type of interview is an interview in which the role of the leader is absent. One form of conducting it is a conversation where the journalist and the recipient can change roles, the journalist emphasizes that, in fact, there is no informational reason for obtaining any information, ie the illusion is created that it is a “simple” conversation between two people.

If we talk about the use of this type of interview on television and radio, the main purpose of this type of communication is the journalist’s attempt to penetrate the intimate space of the audience, thus creating the illusion that the audience, so to speak, ” spies “or” eavesdrops “sincerely conversation of two people. However, the main disadvantage of this form of conversation is that it may not have enough interesting information and turn into “talking about nothing.”

Thus, interviewing as a means of conveying the inner state of man is essentially quite effective. However, it should be remembered that, in addition to the task of revealing his interlocutor, the journalist must not forget that he works for the audience, and carefully ensure that the conversation with the recipient does not turn into “empty chatter.”

Now let us dwell in detail on the second type of transmission of the inner state of man by word. This variety is called “simulation”.

What are its features? It:

modeling – ie a combination of real facts from the life of the respondent with fictional; the use of the “stream of consciousness” in the monologues of the recipient; literary imagery in the construction of journalistic material; the journalist simulates the mental state of the recipient; the journalist transforms into the hero of his work.

It should also be noted that modeling can be applied inherently in any media. But the most effective use of this method will be in the print media. This is due to the fact that one of the advantages of the print media is, as is well known, the ability to return to what is read and focus readers’ attention in detail on individual paragraphs or lines.

Modeling to some extent has the features of a literary work, but, in our opinion, we should talk about a kind of manifestation of journalism, because the most important thing is still the informative purpose of creating such materials. Literary means in such materials are used as the best illustrations, the purpose of which is to fully convey the inner state of man.

The disadvantage is the relatively small audience interested in such materials. This is due to the fact that the advantage in modern journalism is given mainly to purely informative short genres, where a small number of words concentrates an extremely large meaning in order to satisfy the informative thirst of society.

However, some materials created with the help of modeling can cause a wide resonance in society, and this indicates a high degree of effectiveness of such journalistic works.

It should be noted that these materials will be effective only when the journalist is completely transformed into the hero of his work.

We will illustrate application of a method of modeling at transfer of an internal condition of the person, having offered to your attention a small essay.

Parisian letters

This is a real autumn. Scattered maple is in no hurry to remove. Only the wind with warm waves from time to time lifts the gilding of the pavement. Parisian leaves.

Found a place where there are no tourists. Rest. Numerous passages still feature the flags of the countries whose national football teams were here at the World Cup this summer. Faded from the Paris winds and rains … Photos of champions are smiling from the shop windows. The football information line of an unforgettable victory sometimes breaks through the sea of advertising: thanks to Zidane and Petya for the final …

The Louvre, its beauty. Flags, T-shirts, scarves and hats are near the glass pyramid again. Football scenery is not removed here yet. It is a pity that there are no actors. The only difference from the championship month is the small number of tourists interested in football and Parisian accessories.

… It rained. Drops remain on the yellow maple leaf – the tears of the vanquished and the champagne of the victors.

… The names of Italian football players were written on the Eiffel with a black marker. I will write the word “Ukraine”. From the top of the tower, the Stade de France fit in the palm of your hand. He hid it in his pocket of memory, which is still wet from the rain.

… Tourists from different countries are constantly waving their hands from bus to bus, congratulating on the holiday of Paris, on the holiday of his stay in Paris. But Europeans are easy to recognize. Men are dressed in T-shirts of their local teams: here and “Barcelona” and “Inter” and “Manchester United” and … “Dynamo” our “Dynamo”.

… Again looking for a place without tourists. Coffee shops drink light wine and drink coffee. I drink too. For Paris!

Ronaldo is ready to hit the ball at the Hryvnia Museum. And next to him – two grandmothers in T-shirts of the French national team. Also wax. Such are the smiles of the championship frozen in time.

… It’s too late today. Tomorrow I will collect maple. I’m buying a flower for her. She is in Kyiv. In vain, withering. I will bring a herbarium.

… Negroes all over Paris cling to tourists with their souvenir copies of the Eiffel and strange plastic birds that can fly, seeing a T-shirt “Dynamo” shout: “Shevchenko! Shevchenko!” Stuffed in friends. “Even though you know Shevchenko, your souvenirs are useless to me. I will remember this tower forever,” I think to myself.

… Paintings. They have winter Paris, warm Paris, or just winter, autumn, spring. The Spaniard had just bought a painting with the Stade de France. Someone’s fabulous pencil drew a face similar to yours. Or maybe he drew you?

But it’s autumn here. Football summer remained on magazine covers, stickers, and faces painted in national colors. Football autumn has begun in Paris. The rain of tears and champagne will not subside again …

Tourists go home, dreaming of coming back here again. I also dream about it. And someday I’ll come back to add our names to you on the Eiffel.

… Winter … I look at the herbarium. It’s snowing. Now I write the same word on the snow as on the tower. When I write, my fingers gradually clean the rose leaves. I see him again. But you are gone. You stayed in the fall. Memories must sleep, because it is winter. Don’t wake up!

In this sketch, true facts are interspersed with fictional ones. The form of the diary is able to best convey the inner state of man, because the diary records the most valuable, most intimate information. The form of the diary is considered quite effective, because psychologists have proven that any intimate facts from the life of even a stranger can attract the attention of anyone. The reader is interested in learning about the inner world of a person like himself, and he identifies himself with the owner of the diary, trying to feel the same feelings in himself, to understand his essence and meaning of his life.

In this work, the author transforms into a fictional character and tries to see the world through feelings of love and nostalgia for the summer (ie for the heat), which has already passed.
